Description
House of the Open Chair is built around the belief that every stranger is just a friend whose story you haven't heard yet. Its members are the ones who notice the person standing alone and walk straight toward them. This is a house where warmth is not a feeling but a verb.
Mission
We practice the radical art of making room, pulling up a chair for the stranger who hasn't yet arrived.
